The Big Sky Comedy Festival has established itself as one of the Top Comedy festivals in the country, bringing together comedic talent from across the U.S. and beyond for four days of laughter and entertainment.

Over the course of 10 shows across 6 unique venues, 24 comedians are handpicked from a large pool of applicants. These comedians are not just here to perform, but to compete in the festival’s signature event, the “Competition.” The competition splits the comedians into two teams—Team Auggie and Team Seely—for an exciting head-to-head battle.

Over two preliminary nights, each comedian performs twice at different venues, with audience members and industry professionals casting their votes.
Our industry judges include representatives from CBS, NBC, Comedy Central, The Tonight Show, Reign Agency, and more, ensuring that only the best move forward.

The Top 8 comedians advance to the grand finale, held at the historic Alberta Bair Theater, where one will be crowned MVP.
In addition to the competition, we’re always adding creative new shows to keep things fresh and fun. Other exciting shows include “Comics Under the Influence,” “Ladies of Laughter,” and "The Family Friendly Show."
